    Default Bourbon Offshore

Anyone ever work for Bourbon Offshore? I know they are international but was still wondering if they hire U.S. officers.
    Thanks

I've asked about them here in the past without much response. About a year ago I'd have sworn I saw US citizenship as a choice in their on line application. Wouldn't new equipment be nice!

They list American as one of their nationality choices, but I could not get their online application/CV to work properly.

Rigdon Marine was backed financially by Bourbon, they are a French Company, when they pulled their money out, Rigdon sold out to some company in the gulf, worked for Rigdon for 2 weeks until some dumbshit Chief Limited pumped Raw Sewage in to the bay in Corpus Christi at the dock after we tied up, we had been offshore for 7 days and he waited till we were at the dock to pump.

    Default Bourbon

I work for bourbon offshore norway.
Bourbon has a newbuilding program called horizon 2012....are to recieve 1 vessel every 15 days.
They have employees from all over the world.
The norwegian department are going to recieve 6 new vessels in 2010...need 150 men. I dont know if you must be able to speek scandinavina and english, but I don`t think so, because there are some polish engineers , and they do not speek Scandinavian. The frence department has a crewing department --bourbon greenmar, and <i am convinced that they hire anybody who is qualified. I dont know what sallery they french dep has, but the norwegian sallery is very good.

I have been in bourbon for 6 years, and I recomend it highly.
Bourbon are operating all over the world: India, Vietnam, Gulf of mex, Brasil, Angola, Cameron, Nigeria(Not recomended), congo, north sea(so an so...bad weather all the time)
