What is a fair price to you and where are you located?
Fletchers in Homua, LA seemed to have the lowest priced classes that I have found. Not for sure if they do DP or not but I'm sure they do. Call them 985-857-3658.
You will have to account for your motel room in the price I guess also.

Fletcher has the lowest priced classes, but i doubt they have DP. For DP classes, I think L3 Communications is the lowest, at $1900.
Houston Marine is $3000, and Kongsberg is $2300. This is for each of the two classes. Beier Radio is $2000 for each of the 2 classes.
None of them have any sort of 'placement program', either. I am looking into (trying to) get into DP work when I return to the workforce this spring.

    Kongsberg (Houston)
    , +1 713 895 1840.
    L3 Communications (Houston, TX) 713-880-2866 x212

    Houston Marine
    (Kenner, LA)
    504-468-4445
    Beier Radio-(Belle Chasse, LA) 504-341-0123 ex 236

There are other schools around the world, as well. Choeust and Diamond Offshore
have schools, as well, but they're closed to outside students, I believe.

There are several schools. The least costly of the bunch is probably Houston Marine in New Orleans.

    Good luck.

**Houston charges individuals $2.5K for each of the 2/4 day courses..suggest those wanting to attend as individuals try to collectively locate some "obama bucks"!!

I'm not a bank or severely mis-managed corporation in danger of going under. How do I come across those?
