Gateway towing

Long time reader, first time poster..
Does anyone have any experience working for gateway towing out of new haven conn.? I might be in line for an ab position and just wanted to find out if it's a decent company.

Gateway seems to be a good company, you should be ok there but did you win the lottery? It's almost impossible to work for them....

They've had ads in workboat & online looking for help.

They are an okay company. Boats are decent, pay is decent as well. You'll be doing a lot of ship assist work at the Riverhead Terminal in Long Island sound and assist work in Bridgeport, New Haven, etc. I would try to get on the bigger boats that mostly do tow work. You also have to be at least 21 years of age to work there.
