Job market for Mechanical Engineers coming out of a maritime academy

I have been accepted to Cal maritime for mechanical engineering. I am going to go visit the school, but I was wondering what the job market is for mechanical engineers from a maritime school. I'm not clear exactly what I would be doing. Would marine engineering be a better choice? Also, is it hard to get a job coming out of cal maritime? Thank you in advance for any answers. John
