Read the yachtie websites like Dockwalk.com, Yachtforums.com, thecrewreport.com, and more for smaller domestic US boats try passsagemaker.com

If you are talking about taking little boats from the US NE to Florida at the end of the season you will have to look at the local boards and magazines for whatever port you are near. Unless you know someone your chances are pretty slim.
