Just remember folks, it's a research vessel, not a merchant vessel. Actually it's a passenger vessel where the passsengers are in charge

47 Crew needed- on one of my former ships- cruising in 2010

    Check this out- http://www.americancruiselines.com/ships.php?ship_id=16

Most positions are hotel- waiters, bartenders, housekeepers- but they will also need deckhands, etc.....

    The good-

    1 It's a job
2- You can go ashore almost every day

The bad- Pay not as good as most
2- TINY Crew Quarters (Except Captain/Mates)
They get (or got) passenger cabins

    Happy Holidays-Anthony

work on a COMMERCIAL FISHING BOAT (Valdez, AK)

I am looking for someone with both mechanical and welding experience to work on my Commercial Seine boat Summer 2010. You will be a regular deckhand who will receive a percentage of boats gross. This is a standard pay method for every boat.

The Season is from June 1st to September 15th. Give or take a week or two. The work is tough but the pay is good. Seine Boat jobs will be nearly impossible to get when summer comes around.

I will require 1-2 weeks of help getting the boat ready, which is standard.

I run a professional boat with a professional crew. I will need someone who is clean, and keeps a cleaned up and organized living space. Everyone takes their turn at dishes and all that, so that can't be an issue with doing some cleaning.

Besides it being illegal, there will be NO drug-use at all while employed. This includes Marijuana. Drinking is ok as long as its in control, and you can get up for work the next morning.

There will be no living costs associated, as everyone lives on the boat. Although i have never had any serious injuries on my boat, the deck is still a potentially dangerous place, and i run it as so. I am the farthest thing from an asshole, but if your feelings get hurt easily, this isn't the place for you.

email me with any questions. and include some credentials that you think would apply. <!-- START CLTAGS -->
