Thanks for the info, but been there done thatI've worked on NCL international lots (NCL Sea, Wind, Star, Dream, Majesty), but never on NCL America because my fiance is Canadian. My friends that have worked NCL America say the money is really good for a entertainment gig, plus full show pay during rehearsals. Maybe someone else can benefit from the posting though.

Wanted: Adventurous sea captain to sail from Honolulu to London

Wanted: Experienced sea captain with own, preferably large and safe, vessel. My family and I (there are three, total) are planning on moving to the UK in March and whilst airplanes take less time, the open seas calls. We would prefer complete transportation from Honolulu to London, or a UK port in the southern half of the country, anyway, although we realize this may not be possible. Did you know that some absurd maritime law makes it not permissible for a person to board a cruise in Hawaii and then depart on the mainland?? I would hope that you did, given the possibility that you would be/are currently in a charge of a vessel. That said, pass on the word to those in charge of maritime law that this is a bunch of hooey.
A bit about us:
One male - 28 years of age
One female - 28 years of age
One male child - approaching 3 years of age
We would be willing to pay the right person for this, although you would have to go through a fairly rigorous interview period. We don't mind stopovers, either. You should probably be a little bit mad to take on such a voyage, but not so mad that you become a Captain Bligh once we are at sea. That will not do. Payment negotiable - based on anticipated duration and route of voyage.

Hawaii Kai is a posh residential area with marinas- near Honolulu. It got it's name from the developer- Henry Kaiser- of shipbuilding fame-Anthony
Hmmm.. since I'll be walking the docks this spring looking to get a little work, I'd bet the Honolulu docks are MUCH nicer than the Boston docks :P
