confused on a Marine Career to Choose

I have been offered a provisional admission to study Nautical Science in Scotland and Marine Engineering in Cyprus, I will like to know which is better between Nautical Science and Marine Engineering. And Further, if anyone can tell me which is better between Scotland and Cyprus for and Offshore related course i will appreciate it.
