After hearing all of the nightmares that everybody has claimed about the NMC I was very sceptical when I sent my renewal in but must give them a two thumbs up on their response. I mailed mine to the REC that I use (Miami, which IMHO is the best of them all) and 23 days after I mailed it I had my new MMC good until 2014. No mistakes, everything was perfect. I am very happy with the service I received from them. Maybe this one will help pad all of the bad PR that they have gotten in the past.

Things went fairly well on my renewal. I'm just glad I wasn't in a hurry. My new Doc's P/A screwed up the medical eval report. (crossed Tees and dotted Is) I also had to follow up with transfer DOIs to keep my PIC.
The medical waver says I have to prove that my blood sugar levels are maintained anually. No big deal as I had to prove that every 6 months for the last 7 years to maintain my union clinic card before I retired.
Two months total from start to receipt today.
