You have to take them all, there is no option to take a test instead of any of the classes. The exams are a separate requirement.

JUST A FUNNY COMMENT: Over the 40 years I have gone to sea, I have heard the word CELESTIAL pronounced CELESTRIAL many, many, many times. But I have NEVER seen it written in the mispronounced form. NO OFFENSE MEANT.

Just my way of being humerous and to say that your spell checker was right, there is such a word as celestrial. I would never have known that if it wasn't for your thread.........thanks, you are a cornucopia of worthless information.......as am I.

Just so we're all clear, spell check or not, the word "celestrial" cannot be found in the Oxford or Merriam-Webster Dictionaries. If Stephen Colbert starts using it, that may change.
