    *I am getting ready to take my test for chief mate can anyone recommend a good non programmable* scientific* calculator to use for the test ?

    Texas Instruments TI-35 works pretty well. Has all the scientific functions and keys to input deg.min.sec.

    I always have enjoyed the TI-30X II as my calculator of choice for navigation.
