Can the information pages of the new red MMC books be laminated?

Yes. It can be burned by throwing into a fire as well, but you should never do either one.

If you're worried about damage from posting it onboard, why not go to the NMC credential site and print your MMC info. Enter your mariner number and last name, click on your MMC. It displays your credential in full. Print and laminate that and post it without a care.
I know, technically not the right way, but it's easier to replace for sure.
