Bridging the skills gap in the shipping industry

Hello all.. Am new to this forum..

My name is Hariesh Manaadiar.. I am based in Johannesburg, South Africa.. I have been in the shipping industry for the past 19 years.. I noticed that there is a serious lack of skill and knowledge about the shipping and freight process within this industry..

With this shortage in mind, i have started two blogs - one which is SPECIFIC to Shipping in South Africa and its processes - http://shippinginsouthafrica.wordpress.com and the other one which covers shipping and freight in general worldwide - http://theworldofshipping.wordpress.com..

I hope that these two blogs will be useful for the newcomers to this industry and will also encourage a healthy dialogue amongst the shipping fraternity regarding various issues currently going on in this industry..
